What We’re Thankful For

Thanksgiving is easily one of the best holidays of the year because it allows us to appreciate the little things in life and spend time with the people who mean the most to us. It also allows us to relax and spend the day watching ball with our loved ones. Here is what each of us Gameday Journal members are thankful for.

Snade: I am thankful for MACtion. From Halloween to Thanksgiving, MACtion gives us something to bet on, watch and enjoy, and annoy our girlfriends with instead of watching Hallmark movies. There’s just something about watching two 1-7 teams play in a cold, rainy game on a Tuesday night in November with less people than a 6-year-old’s birthday party in the stands.

KKarp: I am thankful for Saturdays in general because it’s the best day of the week where we get to spend our entire day watching the greatest sport in the world that is always filled with chaos and drama. I’m also thankful for Bowl Season (for obvious reasons) and this blog team. Here’s to many more.

Commish: I am thankful for Big Ben, who showed me what a fearless warrior looks like. A winner, the man never let me feel like a Browns fan. Aman of God and faith, and most importantly the best QB my favorite team will ever have in my lifetime.

Clay: I’m thankful for my fiancée first and foremost. I’m thankful for the Birds 🦅 and Jalen Hurts and Jason Kelce specifically. I’m thankful for getting to go to Notre Dame Stadium with my fiancée. And lastly, I’m thankful for the boys and the pod/blog.

Dom: I’m just thankful for sports in general. Just the way that they bring people together that have nothing else in common but love for their team. And how they’ve brought me so many friends both growing up and even now as I get older.

Happy Thanksgiving everyone!
