The MLB Needs to Start Juicing Up the Players

As a baseball fan, it is truly upsetting seeing the month of September be totally taken over by football. I get it, football is awesome, but there are some great stories still in the MLB that is getting no media attention! The AL East race is an absolute classic, the AL West is looking like it will come down to the wire, and the Wild Card Race for both leagues has plenty
of teams in the hunt. The media could care less! It is a shame that you could throw on a Purdue vs. Arizona State game on ESPN and it would get more eyeballs than an Orioles vs. Rays series.

My solution is to get all of the players juiced up and hitting bombs, smashing records, and lighting up the scoreboard. Aaron Judge’s race to 62 home runs last year was being covered tremendously and I believe that there were tons of people watching because it is ENTERTAINING. Look back at the early 2000s stats for players and tell me you would not kill to see more seasons like that. A legit homerun battle between Mark McGwire and Sammy Sosa, or Barry Bonds hitting a home run every at bat. The fans need this for their entertainment and the MLB needs this to keep their product relevant once we hit September. Think about all that can happen with everyone being juiced up throwing 105 MPH and hitting 500-foot home runs. The MLB needs this and if I were the commissioner, I would get the needles out NOW!
