Commish: Ray Davis – RB, Kentucky
Talk about riding a running back like a horse. Ray Davis put the Wildcats on his back, rushing for a career-high 280 yards on 26 carries. Davis also had a school-record-tying four total TD in the contest as Kentucky’s undefeated season stayed alive after upsetting #22 Florida.
Dom: Jaxson Dart – QB, Ole Miss
In a shootout upset over LSU, Dart threw for 389 yards and four TD. On the ground, he added another 50 yards and a score on 7 carries. Dart capped off his final drive of the game by finding Tre Harris for the go ahead touchdown. After an underwhelming performance last week against Alabama, Dart more than made up for it in this upset against the Tigers.
Clay: Tre Harris – WR, Ole Miss
Tre Harris took flight against the LSU Tigers this past weekend. With a total of eight catches for 153 yards along with one score, he took the top off the Tiger defense. While it wasn’t the longest completion of the day, Harris hauled in a 56-yard pass that just emulated the track meet of the high scoring affair.
Snade: Jonathon Brooks – RB, Texas
It was a big game for the Longhorns against a feisty Kansas defense and Brooks established himself as the next great running back for Texas! The bell-cow RB ran for 218 yards and two TD on just 21 carries as UT improved to 5-0 for the first time since 2009. Performances like that will be crucial for the Longhorns’ playoff hopes.
KKarp: Brock Bowers – TE, Georgia
Bowers reminded college football fans why he is one of the best players in the nation after posting a career-high 157 yards on eight catches and a score. His day was highlighted by a game-winning 40-yard touchdown with 2:52 left to seal the deal for the Bulldogs as they escaped Auburn with a tight 27-20 victory.
(Special addition): Caleb Williams – QB, USC
Despite Colorado’s late comeback that began to have Trojan fans on the edge of their seats, Williams’ performance on Saturday was nothing short of an absolute clinic. The reigning Heisman Trophy winner dazzled in all four quarters, notching a 75% completion rate to go along with 403 yards and 6 TD.
